Who we are
This website belongs to White Box Group Ltd (company number 16781580), an off-market property business working across North East England. We are the data controller for anything you send us through it, under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). You can reach us on allan@whitebox-group.com.
What we collect
Only what you type or pick in the enquiry form, which is your email address, and if you use the enquiry chat, your first name, your phone number and what you are looking for. There is no account to create and nothing else is collected about you.
Why we hold it
To get back to you about your enquiry, price the work and arrange it. That is taking steps at your request before a contract, and carrying the contract out if you go ahead. We do not use it for anything else.
Who sees it
Your enquiry goes to us and nobody else. It is delivered by Charmpages, who built and look after this website, purely to pass the message on. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with anyone else, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Cookies and other companies
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixel and no map. The cookie bar is there so that nothing like that could ever start without your say.
The lettering on this site is loaded from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address so it can send the font file, and no cookie is set.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once they are clearly dead. Paperwork for jobs we have actually done is kept for six years, because HMRC requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Get in touch on allan@whitebox-group.com and we will sort it, normally within the week and always within a month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Other websites
Where we link out, for example to a review profile or a supplier, those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not cover them.
